Rappel was created by accountants and engineers who spent too many hours manually reconciling Shopify payouts in spreadsheets. We knew there was a better way.
Our mission
Financial clarity should not require a spreadsheet expert
Every Shopify merchant — from a solo DTC brand to a multi-location franchise — deserves to know their real margin, have clean books, and close the month without a week of manual work.
Most accounting tools for ecommerce were built in the early days of Shopify, when reconciliation was simpler. Today, a single store might have Shopify Payments, Stripe Terminal, Klarna, Amazon, and PayPal — each with separate payouts, different fee structures, and their own timing quirks.
We built Rappel to handle exactly this complexity — automatically, verifiably, and with a full audit trail.
